Playing with light

When I have a big shoot coming up, I practice. The brief was dramatic with lots of high contrast. This shot was created with one speedlight set up almost directly in front of and pretty close to the model. No light modifier was used. It took a few attempts to get the shadows of the fingers falling exactly where I wanted them, but I’m pretty happy this test shot.
