Hi! I’m Jane. I'm from Scotland but spent many years in London before moving to New York City in 2011. When apartment living got too cramped with two children, we moved out to Westchester and other than a brief two year stint in Toronto., we’ve been here ever since.
I've always loved photography and using it to tell stories, but I really set out on a mission when I had my two kids. I wanted to document their unique quirks, silly antics and favorite things as they were growing up. Those moments that are often all too fleeting, and if they're not recorded, often forgotten. I wanted to be able to remember them at their different stages just as they were. No posing, just being. This is what still drives me. Whether it's family shoots, studio portraits, pet or horse shoots, events, brand stories or headshots, I let my clients be who they are. After all, photography is not just about an image capture. It's about creating emotional connections and what better way to create a connection than by just being yourself.
