Fairytale wedding

This was an incredible day. Firstly, what an amazing couple. Both were so relaxed and up for absolutely anything I threw at them. And thank goodness, for had they not been wiling to brave the biggest snow storm of the year and trust in my vision, we’d never have got this shot. This particular location was set a fair way back off the main walkway down behind a bank of snow and several other shrubs. But with the help of a snow shovel and blanket so they didn’t sink down into the snow, we cleared a path and captured this very special moment. The combination of colours here work so well together and the snow covered Sumac frames them perfectly. It’s always hard to choose a favourite image from a shoot like this, but this one is definitely up there for me.
